Patrik Donale Vieira was born in Dakar, Senegal, on June 23, 1976. He plays as a right defender, and had been capped 105 times for the national team scoring 6 times. He won the World Cup in 1998 and the Euro 2000 with France and played in the FIFA World Cup 2002, and 2006.
With Arsenal he won the Premier League in 1998, 2002, 2004 and the Cup in 1998, 2002, 2003 and 2005. He was Champion of Italy with Juventus, and won the Italian Super Cup in 2006 and the Serie A 2007 with Inter Milan.
In 1998 he got the highest decoration in France, “Legion d’Honneur”, he was selected to FIFA 100 in 2004 and in the same year he was named Carlsberg Player of the Year. |
