RODION CAMATARU

Radion Camataru was born in Strehaia, on June 22nd , 1958. He played as a striker, achieving 75 caps in the National Team with 22 goals scored. He played with the Romanian team in the World Championship in 1990 and in the European Championship in 1984.

His trophies include the Golden Boot award in 1987 (44 goals), the title of “best goal scorer of the Romanian First Division” in 1987, 4 Romanian Cups in 1977, 1978, 1981 and 1983 and two Romanian Championships, all with Universitatea Craiova.
