MIODRAG BELODEDICI

Miodrag Belodedici was born in Socol, Caras-Severin County, on the 20th of May 1964. He played as defender and was capped 53 times for the national team, scoring 5 goals.

His club teams were Minerul Moldova Noua, Luceafarul Bucharest, Steaua Bucharest, Red Star Beograd, Valencia, Real Valladolid, Villarreal and Atlante Mexico City. In Champions League he played 44 matches, scoring one goal, and in UEFA Cup he played 9 matches.

His trophies and awards are:
-Romanian Champion with Steaua in 1985, 1986, 1987,1988,1989, 2001;
-Iugosvlavian Champion with Red Star Beograd in 1990, 1991, 1992;
-Mexicos Champion with Atlante Mexico City in 1998;
-Winner of the Champions Cup with Steaua Bucuresti in 1986;
-Winner of Champions Cup with Red Star Beograd in 1991;
-Awarded the second best player of the year in 1986,1987 and 1988.
