MARIUS LACATUS

Marius Lacatus is born in Brasov on the April 5, in 1964. During his career he played as a striker. Lăcătuş was capped 84 times, scoring 13 goals for the Romanian national team, and played for his country in the 1990 World Cup, Euro 1996 and 1998 World Cup. He scored the 700th goal for the national team of Romania.

He won the Champions’ Cup, the European Champions’ Cup, 7 Romanian Cups and 10 Romanian Championship, being the Romanian football player who won the largest number of Cups and Championships. All these awards were won with Steaua Bucharest.

His coaching career began at Farul Constanta. After training FCM Brasov, Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt and UTA Arad, Lacatus returned to Steaua Bucharest as coach and occupies this position from the 28th of October 207.
