Born in Campulung on the 6th of October 1945, Emeric Dembrovschi played as a striker having been capped 27 times for the national team and scoring 9 goals. He participated along with the national team of Romania at the EURO in 1984.

He won in 1980 the Romanian Cup with Politehnica Timisoara.
